"Between" o "among"
Between per due elementi distinti, among per un gruppo indistinto.
Attenzione
In front of non significa di fronte a nel senso di "dall'altra parte": quello è opposite.
- The car is in front of the house. → davanti, dalla stessa parte.
- The bank is opposite the house. → dall'altro lato della strada.
E near non vuole to: near the station, non near to the station.
