Serve being: is being done, are being built. È una forma che sembra pesante ma è comunissima nelle notizie e negli avvisi.
- The bridge is being rebuilt.
Attenzione
Non confondere is made con is being made:
- Bread is made with flour. → è un fatto generale.
- The bread is being made now. → sta succedendo adesso.
