Ogni verbo introduttivo vuole una costruzione precisa, e non sono intercambiabili.

- He promised to help.
- She advised me to wait.
- They suggested going by train.
Attenzione
Suggest non ammette l'infinito, benché in italiano suggerire di fare sembri chiederlo:
- He suggested going out. ✅
- He suggested that we go out. ✅
- He suggested me to go out. ❌
