Contrazioni
Nel parlato e nella scrittura informale si contrae quasi sempre: I'm, he's, she's, it's, you're, we're, they're.
Attenzione
In italiano si dice ho 25 anni, in inglese si è di una certa età: I am 25 years old, mai I have 25 years.
Lo stesso vale per fame, freddo, paura: I'm hungry, I'm cold, I'm scared — non I have hunger.
