Il present perfect collega il passato al presente. Descrive qualcosa che è successo, ma senza dire quando: quello che conta è il risultato adesso.
Come si forma
have / has + participio passato.
| Soggetto | have/has | participio |
|---|---|---|
| I / you / we / they | have | worked |
| he / she / it | has | worked |
- I have finished my homework. → adesso è finito.
- She has lost her keys. → adesso non le trova.
I tre usi principali
- Esperienza, senza data: I have been to Japan.
- Risultato presente: He has broken his leg.
- Situazione ancora aperta: We have lived here for ten years.
Attenzione
Se nella frase c'è un momento definito, il present perfect non si può usare: serve il past simple.
- I have seen that film. ✅ (non importa quando)
- I have seen that film yesterday. ❌ → I saw it yesterday.
