La domanda si forma invertendo il soggetto e la forma di be. Il participio in -ing non si tocca.
- He is playing tennis. → Is he playing tennis?
Come si forma
| am/is/are | soggetto | verbo + -ing | resto |
|---|---|---|---|
| Is | he | playing | tennis? |
| Are | they | going | to the park? |
Domande aperte
La parola interrogativa va davanti a tutto: What are you eating?, Where are we going?
Attenzione
Non serve mai do nel present continuous: l'ausiliare è già be. Do you working? è sbagliato — si dice Are you working?
